Become the hostess with the mostess! Join us for a charcuterie board making workshop Saturday, February 11 at The Good Candle.

In this workshop you will learn cheese basics like cutting, styling, and selecting cheese to pair with a particular wine so you can apply your new cheeseboard making skills for your friends and family. You will learn to create the famous salami rose and fruit carvings. While learning the basics, you will be guided step by step in creating your own charcuterie board that you get to take home after the class.

After this course you will be able to recognize various artisanal cheeses, know the perfect wine pairings for each, and you will know how incorporate your own style into making a cheeseboard to share.

Each person will make a cheese tray perfect for sharing with 2-3 people.

Several artisanal cheeses and accompaniments like meats, nuts and fruits that pair well with the cheeses.
